Farewell Tiangong-1: China's first space lab to retire

China says its first space lab will soon retire. The Tiangong-1 will be consumed as it re-enters the atmosphere. The Beijing Aerospace Control Center says it will take the fatal plunge on Saturday. The Tiangong-1 was launched in September, 2011, and completed its mission in March, 2016. It was China's first step towards building its own space station by 2022.
