Russian deputy prime minister visits Chang’an Automobile in China

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin on Sunday arrived in southwest China’s Chongqing Municipality for the 21st Session of the Committee on Regular Meetings Between the Chinese Premier and Russian Prime Minister. 
On Sunday afternoon, Rogozin visited Chang’an Automobile, one of the top automobile groups in China.

The brand now aims to further expand its overseas market and boosting its sales in Russia is one of its goals. 
In 2013, China and Russia established the “Yangtze River-Volga River” cooperation process, which includes six regions along the upper and middle reaches of the Yangtze River in China and 14 federal provinces along the Volga, and Chongqing is one of the important regions within the mechanism.

Rogozin is scheduled to hold the annual meeting with Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang on Monday. The two leaders are expected to review the achievements of the bilateral cooperation on trade and major projects, among other areas during the past year. 
The meeting will also discuss how to implement the achievements made during Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to Russia in July.
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and Chinese Premier Li Keqiang will hold the annual meeting in Beijing next week.
