Former securities official expelled from CPC

Zhang Yujun, former assistant chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), has been expelled from the Communist Party of China (CPC) and removed from public office for severe disciplinary violations, according to the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI).
The case has been transferred to the judiciary, CCDI said.
