A massive landslide in southwest China blocked a major highway for three hours on Sunday.
The landslide, which happened at 15:45, saw 20,000 cubic meters of mud fall onto Highway 213 near Maoxian, in Sichuan Province, completely blocking access to traffic.
An emergency team consisting of personnel from public security, land resources and highways departments was sent to the site.
Heavy machinery was used to clear the road and by 18:30 traffic was able to flow freely again.
According to the emergency office of the Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province, no deaths or injuries were reported.
