A railway worker recorded the moment sandstorms hit the Kashgar area in the southern Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region as a train passed by Saturday. Mobile footage shows the blue sky suddenly turned dirty. Cities in the region were hit by a blanket of dust. Southern Xinjiang is expected to experience more sand and dust in the next few days.
