S. Korean President Moon Jae-in agreed to visit China for a summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping next month, Yonhap reported on Saturday.
The two leaders held talks on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting in Vietnam, and agreed to enhance “strategic dialogue” to resolve the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) nuclear issue peacefully, according to Yonhap.
The S. Korean news agency also reported that Xi will try to attend the opening ceremony of the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.
