Dele Alli struck a double as Spurs registered an emphatic 3-1 win over Chelsea for the first time in 28 years. It was Alvaro Morata, who headed in Victor Moses' cross to give the hosts the lead but Christian Eriksen leveled the score with a spectacular equalizer from 25 yards just before the half-time for Spurs.
Alli, who came through a rough patch, then turned the tide in the visitors’ favor as he took center stage in the second half. His first strike came just after the hour mark as he slotted an Eric Dier pass beyond Blues goalkeeper Willy Caballero.

The England midfielder then went on to stab in following a goalmouth scramble to wrap up a win that propelled fourth-placed Mauricio Pochettino’s side eight points clear of Chelsea, who are currently in fifth position.
Meanwhile, in another Sunday fixture, Arsenal thrashed Stoke 3-0 to give some breather for their under-fire manager Arsene Wenger. The London club’s recent streak of defeats failed to bring enough supporters at Emirates Stadium and a lackluster first-half display saw their sparse home crowd booing the Gunners players at half-time.

However, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's penalty drew the first blood for the hosts in the 75th minute after a controversial foul by Bruno Martins Indi on Mesut Ozil and the Gabon striker doubled the lead from an Ozil corner.
In the 89th minute, a Badou Ndiaye's push on substitute Alexandre Lacazette helped Arsenal to make it three as Lacazette converted the penalty for a 3-0 scoreline over the relegation threatened club. Despite the win, Arsenal remained at 6th place in the Premiership table while Stoke are at the 19th place.
