Demonstrators took to the streets of Rio de Janeiro on Monday afternoon to protest a bill pushed through by conservatives and approved last week by a parliamentary commission that women's rights advocates say threatens the right to abortions in Brazil.
"Moralist Congress, you want to control my vagina!" shouted protesters, many of whom were carrying their children.
Scuffles broke out between protesters and police when the march reached the Rio state legislature.
