Chinese President Xi Jinping offers condolences over deadly Somalia bombings

Chinese President Xi Jinping sent condolences to his Somali counterpart, Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed, on Tuesday over the deadly truck bombings in Somalia's capital, Mogadishu. 
On behalf of the Chinese government and people, as well as in his own name, Xi mourned the dead, extended heartfelt sympathy to the hurt and to the bereaved families, and wished the injured a quick recovery.
In a message of condolences, Xi said he was shocked to learn of the bombings which caused heavy casualties.  
Over 300 people were killed after a twin bombing rocked Mogadishu on Saturday, making it the deadliest attack in Somalia's history.
