The annual Taipei Lantern Festival kicked off on Saturday, with lanterns designed by more than 200 artists displayed in nine locations across the city. Lanterns from Shanghai joined the festival and caught the eyeballs of many visitors. The lanterns embody the city's landmark elements, like the Shanghai World Financial Center, Jinmao Tower, and the Oriental Pearl Radio and TV Tower.
