And as it's now the Year of the Dog, let's take a look at what man's best friend means in Chinese culture. CGTN's Tian Ran and Ming Zhui Lee explain.
2018 is the Year of the Dog, but what does that mean? Well, here's Travelogue's guide to doggy people.
First and foremost, dogs make great leaders. They are inspirational.
Dogs love to lend a helping paw but they can be a bit nosy.
Dogs are brave – perhaps stupidly so.
And dogs are loyal. Although, they can get a bit anxious.
On the flipside, dogs are strict. You could say they're judgemental.
They're also very sensitive creatures.
For dogs, 2018 is all about creativity even if in the beginning, no one appreciates your work.
Health wise – make sure you keep active, but watch out for injuries.
And as for romance, you'll get no love from roosters or rams. Although you'll find a soul mate in the horse. While 2018 might be a bit ruff. If you get into the arts, this is your year to shine.
So, from everyone at Travelogue, happy year of the dog!
