A monkey visited residents' homes, treating itself to food and leaving a mess in Qijiang district, in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality. Residents called the police but the wily animal escaped. Police officers said the relevant departments had tried and failed to capture the monkey several times. They said some locals may have fed the monkey in the past, leading it to "believe" that the area was its "canteen".
