The 12th NPC has strengthened friendly exchanges with foreign parliaments. It received 275 parliamentary delegations on visits to China, organized the overseas trips of 311 Chinese delegations, signed 21 cooperation agreements with the parliaments of 19 countries, and also actively engaged in multilateral parliamentary diplomatic activities, according to the report delivered at the ongoing NPC session on Sunday by Zhang Dejiang, chairman of the NPC Standing Committee.
