China-UAE Ties: Dubai-based CATV signs deal to air more Chinese TV shows

A television network in the United Arab Emirates will start broadcasting popular Chinese shows. On July 14th, the China Media Group and China Arab TV (CATV) held a signing and launching ceremony for the China·UAE "China Theater" in Dubai. Let's find out more.
According to the cooperation agreement, the popular Chinese TV shows Ode to Joy, Beijing Youth, and Jin Tailang's Happy Life will be broadcast on the Dubai-based CATV. The shows have been dubbed in Arabic by the China Media Group.
"China Theater" will help foster a mutual understanding of both sides' cultures and deepen the friendship between the two peoples.
