Under a policy of “they who enforce the law shall disseminate knowledge of the law”, law enforcement departments should fill gaps in the public’s legal awareness, officials announced at a press conference of the State Council Information Office on Thursday.
“Eighteen provinces and eight central state organs have introduced measures to promote incorporation of legal publicity into law enforcement,” said Zhang Jun, minister of justice and head of the National Legal Publicity Office.
