Nominations announced for 90th Academy Awards

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and The Shape of Water are early favorites for the 90th Academy Awards, which will take place on Sunday, and be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel. 
The nominations for 2018 Oscars have just been announced. The awards are considered to be the film industry's most prestigious honor.
The awards are handed out in 24 categories, most of which contain five nominees. The two exceptions are the Best Picture category, which can have between five and 10 nominees - and has nine nominees this year - and Makeup and Hairstyling, which has three nominees.
Fairy tale romance "The Shape of Water" topped the list of Oscar nominations on Tuesday with 13 nods, including Best Picture, Best Actress and  Best Supporting Actor. In second place was World War II epic "Dunkirk" with eight, while crime drama "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" came in third with seven. Find the full list below:
