The death toll from a head-on collision between a bus and a truck in Kenya early Sunday morning has risen to 36, AFP reported citing local police.
The initial toll had risen after six passengers succumbed to injuries in the hospital, said Rift Valley traffic police chief Zero Arome, adding that the number of people injured was down to 11.

At least 30 people were killed and 16 others injured in a head-on collision in central Kenya early Sunday morning, AFP reported citing local police.
A bus and a truck were involved in the accident, which happened at around 3:00 a.m. East Africa time.
According to Rift Valley traffic police chief Zero Arome, all the bodies have been removed from the wreckage and those injured have been hospitalized.
