At least three people were killed after an Amtrak train derailed on an overpass south of Seattle on Dec.19, 2017. The train was estimated to be traveling at 80 mph. Seventy-seven passengers and seven crew members were aboard when the train derailed and more than 100 people were hospitalized with critical injuries. The White House is monitoring the situation.
