HK to hold by-elections for 4 LegCo seats

By-elections of Hong Kong's Legislative Council for seats that fell vacant after four lawmakers were disqualified will be held on March 11, 2018.
The four lawmakers were stripped of their seats by the courts for failing to take their oath properly during the LegCo inauguration in October. The court procedures concerning the four were completed after the Hong Kong Court of Final Appeal dismissed the appeal application of two lawmakers advocating Hong Kong independence, and another two lawmakers said they would not appeal.

Two more ousted lawmakers said on Friday that they would seek appeal against their disqualification.
