A Russian man in Siberia named Vladislac Barashenko built a running and driving copy of a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen out of the most plentiful resource around him: six tons of Ice. /VCG Photo
Barashenko works in a car shop called Garage 54 in the city of Novosibirsk, a large urban enclave nestled on the banks of the Ob River in central Russia. He decided to take advantage of the temperature, minus 12 degrees Celsius in January, creating his own unique version of Daimler’s iconic off roader . /VCG Photo
Barashenkeko got hold of an old UAZ 469-a Soviet Jeep Wrangler. He stripped it down to the chassis and running gear to create a foundation, and with his team built a steel frame to hold the six tons of carefully-sculpted ice bricks together. /VCG Photo
The seats and steering wheel inside of the ice car even can use. Although the icy car weighs as much as a woolly mammoth, it actually can run and drive. The icy car also has a fascinating light show./VCG Photo
