Ten people have died after trekkers were trapped by a forest fire in southern India. A group consisting of 36 women, eight men and three children, traveled to Kurangani hills for a trek organized by the Chennai Trekking Club. As they returned on Sunday evening, the group was trapped by a fire that broke out in the forest.
