A bus caught fire in Yibin City, southwest China’s Sichuan Province on Wednesday morning. Passersby immediately smashed the vehicle’s windows and doused the flames with fire extinguishers and water. Most of the passengers on board managed to escape, but one elderly man remained trapped inside. A restaurant manager risked his life to help him get out of the bus. Later, the fire was brought under control by firefighters. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
