The Chinese Commerce Ministry has expressed a "strong dissatisfaction" with the US imposing anti-dumping and countervailing duties on Chinese aluminium foil.
It said the Washington made a wrong decision "without any evidence" and that it "unreasonably and excessively" adopted trade remedy measures. It also said China would take the necessary measures to protect its legal rights and interests. Earlier, Washington said it would impose duties on a number of Chinese firms. Anti-dumping margins will range from 48 to 106 percent, while anti-subsidy rates will be from 17 to 81 percent.
