South Korea Politics: Moon signs bill on revising the constitution
[]
Yonhap is reporting that President Moon Jae-in has signed a government bill on revising the constitution. He's the first South Korean head of state to do so in nearly four decades. The proposal will now be submitted to the National Assembly, which will have 60 days to review and vote on it. If the bill passes, it will be put to a national referendum with the local elections on June 13th. The bill was signed electronically as Moon is on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates.
