The 2017 "Maker Carnival" kicked off in Shanghai on October 14. With various technologies on display, the event has attracted thousands of people to the scene. The two-day event also features several competitions including drone racing and robot wrestling. So far the event has been held in several of China’s major cities like Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen.
