Six people were injured, three seriously, after a car crashed into a laundromat in New York on Sunday morning.
The 74-year-old driver accidentally put the car into reverse while trying to park, crashing into the building, according to authorities.
Surveillance video shows the car backing up and smashing into the laundromat.
The injured were taken to Staten Island University Hospital.
Police believe the driver may have hit the accelerator instead of the brake, causing the crash. No criminality is suspected in the accident.
According to a new Caring.com report, over 14 million Americans aged 18 to 64 are estimated to be involved in accidents caused by drivers aged 65 and over every year.
