Former governor of east China's Fujian Province prosecuted

Su Shulin, former governor of east China's Fujian Province and deputy secretary of the Fujian provincial committee of the Communist Party of China, has been prosecuted on charges of bribery and abusing power, the second branch of Shanghai People's Procuratorate announced on Friday.
Su was also the general manager of Sinopec, China's leading oil company. He was accused of trading power for personal gains, causing great losses of state-owned properties.
Lu Enguang, a former ministerial-level official of the Ministry of Justice, and Wang Yincheng, former president of the People's Insurance Company of China, were suspected of offering bribes and trading power for illicit gains respectively, and also prosecuted in Henan and Fujian.
