Xiao Yaqing, Chairman of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), said on Saturday that China's central state-owned enterprises (SOEs) have seen a robust year in 2017, earning some 50 trillion yuan, or 7.9 trillion US dollars. Xiao presented the figures at Saturday's press conference during the ongoing session of the 13th NPC in Beijing.
