Ecuadorian President in China: Two sides sign MoU on Belt & Road Initiative

Chinese President Xi Jinping has held talks with the visiting Ecuadorian President, Lenin Moreno in Beijing. The two sides reached a consensus on multiple key issues in a meeting that Beijing described as "successful and productive". The foreign ministry said both sides were committed to deepening cooperation in areas such as infrastructure, agriculture and new energy, as well as people-to-people exchanges. The two leaders also witnessed the signing of multiple deals, including a memorandum of understanding on China's massive international development project, the Belt and Road Initiative.
