We begin in Spain, where a second ship transporting some of the 629 migrants rescued by the Aquarius vessel in the Mediterranean Sea, is expected to arrive at the port of Valencia.

Earlier an Italian coast guard ship carrying nearly 300 refugees arrived in the port city. The others are expected to arrive on a third ship later today. Those on board include people from more than 20 countries, and are from places as far away as Bangladesh and Pakistan. The rescue of the migrants has sparked a major migration row in Europe, as the Aquarius was turned away by Italy and Malta. CGTN's Al Goodman has more.
