Egyptian FM: ‘BRICS Plus’ model fixes imbalanced fiscal environment

Egypt was one of the countries invited to the summit in Xiamen as part of the bloc's "BRICS Plus" program.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said Egypt is eager for Chinese investment in the infrastructure and energy sectors. Further cooperation is expected under the "BRICS Plus" model, which can help to eradicate poverty and achieve greater growth rates.
China proposed the “BRICS Plus” model earlier this year, aiming to strengthen cooperation and deepen mutual understanding.
