Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has shot back against the US indictment that charged 13 Russians with interfering in the 2016 presidential election. Lavrov said the charges lack evidence and are just 'blather'.
SERGEY LAVROV RUSSIAN FOREIGN MINISTER "I didn't see any concrete facts or anything else that would seem like facts, any dates or form in which this meddling was done. Thus it looks like accusations have been made but no evidence was presented. So when Americans say Russia does not acknowledge obvious facts - for us these aren't obvious and aren't facts yet."
Lavrov also spoke about Syria. He said civilian evacuations from the besieged area of eastern Ghouta, an opposition stronghold near Damascus, could be conducted along similar lines to earlier agreements reached in Aleppo.
