South Korean prosecutors sought a 12-year prison term for Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong for bribery in appeals trial on Wednesday.
Lee, the 49-year-old heir to one of the world's biggest corporate empires, was sentenced five years in jail over his role in a scandal that led to the impeachment of the country's former president Park Geun-hye this August.
