High-tech makes PyeongChang Winter Olympics more accessible

In Gangneung's Olympic Village, some new high-tech instruments, which are designed to make the Games experiences more convenient and accessible, are being tested.
At the gate of the main press center, high-tech instruments recognize human faces, allowing visitors to enter the security gate without showing a pass.
New virtual reality (VR) technology from Samsung allows people at home to experience the Games. Using their phones and VR headsets, people can watch a variety of games, and even better, in a closer way.

On the second floor of the press center, where the media do most of their work, a robot carries free drinks to thirsty customers. After choosing a tasty beverage, customers close the machine, and the robot moves on to its next location automatically.
New high technologies are making the Games more convenient, accessible and refreshing for everyone.
