China’s ice breaker, Xuelong, has traveled from Terra Nova Bay to Zhongshan research station, crossing ice floes in the Ross Sea in Antarctica. A time-lapse video recorded the fantastic scenery along the journey. The mission of Xuelong is to carry China’s 34th Antarctic expedition team to prepare for the construction of China's fifth research station in Terra Nova Bay and to transport supplies for Zhongshan station.
