As voters in the US take to the polls, two demographics are expected to have significant pull this time around. CGTN's Nathan King has more.

The Tammy they are shouting for is Tammy Baldwin-one of only 23 women in the U.S. Senate. She's here to debate her Republican challenger, another woman-Leah Vukmir.
While there are many reasons why more women are choosing to run, the President's misogynist comments have been mentioned as a motivating factor. And it could well be a motivating factor in the voting booth. 2018 is already being dubbed the "Year of the Woman".
