Top CPC officials say Xi's 'new era thought' created

The Communist Party of China, led by General Secretary Xi Jinping, has created "Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era", a leading Party official said on Wednesday.
Zhang Dejiang, a Standing Committee member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, said the report delivered by Xi Jinping at the opening of the 19th CPC National Congress demonstrates the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.
Zhang made the comments during a discussion session with the Party delegates from Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on Wednesday afternoon.
Yu Zhengsheng, another Politburo Standing Committee member, also applauded Xi's report.
He said the CPC Central Committee with Xi Jinping at the core has created "Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era", and it is the latest achievement when the Party is adapting Marxism to China's conditions.
Speaking to delegates from Yunnan Province, Liu Yunshan, also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, highlighted Xi's new thoughts and called on all Party members to put these ideas into practice in the new era.
