At least 22 people were injured after a bomb detonated on a London Underground train during the morning rush hour on Friday in what police are treating as a "terrorist incident," AFP reported.
The bomb was confirmed as an improvised explosive device, said UK police.

A total of 18 people have been sent to hospital after the explosion, but none of them are in a life threatening condition, London Ambulance said in a statement.
"It is too early to confirm the cause of the fire, which will be subject to the investigation that is now underway by the Met's Counter Terrorism Command," London police said in a statement.
British Prime Minister May said "thoughts are with those injured at Parsons Green and the Emergency Services who once again are responding swiftly and bravely to a suspected terrorist incident."

British authorities are treating the explosion incident at Parsons Green station as an act of terrorism, the BBC reported, citing unnamed counter-terrorism sources.

A woman suffered burns injuries "from top to toe" after an explosion hit London underground’s Parsons Green Station on Friday, according to the BBC reports.

A photo on social media showed a burning white bucket inside a supermarket bag, but it does not show any extensive damage in the carriage.
Local police and ambulances are working at the scene now.
Underground district line service between Edgware Road and Wimbledon has been suspended, said Transport for London.

An explosion was reported on an underground train at Parsons Green Station in west London on Friday, Reuters reported citing UK’s Sun Newspaper.
The report said there were people who suffered from facial burns after the explosion.
UK police have not given any comment on the incident.
