Venezuela’s opposition on Monday called for a nationwide protest against President Nicolas Maduro.
The opposition-controlled legislature is refusing to recognize any of the decrees issued by a new, all-powerful Constituent Assembly convened by Maduro.
Turnout at an anti-government march on Friday was one of the smallest in four months of deadly unrest.
But opposition lawmakers say it won’t take long to re-mobilize critics of the socialist administration.
