Diplomatic efforts continue on the Korean Peninsula ahead of the upcoming winter Paralympic Games next month in South Korea.
On Tuesday, officials of the two sides held a working group-level meeting on the northern side of the truce village of Panmunjom. The DPRK said it would send athletes to the Paralympic Games. Ahead of the meeting, South Korea thanked Pyongyang for its participation in the PyeongChang Olympic Games. The DPRK said the Games provided a chance for the nation's people to improve their image.
