At least 22 killed, over 30 injured in Mumbai stampede

At least 22 people have been killed and some 30 others injured in a stampede at Mumbai's Elphinstone railway station on Friday, ANI reported citing police official.
All the injured have been sent to a nearby hospital and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team are at the scene.
The accident happened at around 10:30 a.m. local time during rush hour, as people tried to leave a narrow footbridge that connects two train stations after a heavy rainfall.
A police official at the site said that the cause of the stampede is still under investigation.
