"Children of the War," which tells the stories of children caught in the Philippines' war on drugs, took home a Bronze World Medal.
Both "Casualties of Honor" by CGTN's Pakistan correspondent Danial Khan and "Children of the War" by Philippines correspondent Barnaby Lo aired on "Assignment Asia," a multi-awarded magazine and documentary program.

Launched in 2015, the weekly show features stories that bring attention to some of Asia's most pressing and under-reported issues. The program previously won New York Festivals medals for documentaries on Myanmar's heroin problem and the plight of Syrian refugees in Jordan.
"My New Year" aired on "Rediscovering China," a documentary show that provides a unique insight into the world's most populous nation at a time of rapid change. The program also received a finalist certificate for a story about China's left-behind children.
