The Palace Museum online store recalled their princess doll figure. In a statement on their homepage, they said that the dolls were pulled off the shelves because “the body of the doll resembles the product of a certain foreign brand.” They said the head of the doll was created by the museum designer, meaning a similar one could not be on the market. The doll’s IP belongs to a cooperating factory, which has authorized it for online use. It announced to remake the dolls with a new mold.
