UK Prime Minister Theresa May arrived in Japan on Wednesday for her first official visit to the country.
During her three-day stay, May is scheduled to sit down with the chairman of automaker Toyota in the city of Osaka. She'll then move to Tokyo to meet with Emperor Akihito and Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
May's trip is aimed at pushing ahead with free-trade talks, and soothing any fears Japan might have over "Brexit" after the UK received sharp criticism from EU officials. Japan's attention will also be focused on Tuesday's DPRK missile launch over its territory.
