While US President Donald Trump enjoys his first extended break since the inauguration day at his private golf club in New Jersey, a doppelganger seems to be holding the fort in Washington, DC.
A giant inflatable chicken looking like Trump has turned up at the White House while the "real Donald Trump" is out of town.
With an angry face and Trump's signature golden quiff, the inflatable fowl appeared at the Ellipse, a green space near the White House and Washington Monument, with a message to the current occupant of the Oval Office.

The balloon was designed by Seattle artist Casey Latiolais and manufactured in China, according to its owner and documentary filmmaker Taran Singh Brar, who said he wanted to make a statement about the president being a "weak and ineffective leader."
"He's too afraid to release his tax returns, too afraid to stand up to Vladimir Putin and playing chicken with North Korea," USA Today cited him as saying.
The rooster even has an official account (@TaxMarchChicken) on Twitter, using Trump's most loved platform to hit back at him and "come clean about his giant tax cuts for the wealthy".

The same chicken was last seen at the Tax March protest that took over US cities in April this year, when people pressured Trump to release a decade of undisclosed tax returns.
However, a few months before its US appearance, the chicken-shaped balloon hatched outside a Chinese mall to mark the Year of the Rooster in the country while giving a nod to the US presidential election.

A Chinese balloon factory produced the five-meter fowls, as well as a 10-meter version, which sold on Chinese shopping website Taobao for 14,400 yuan (2,080 US dollars) each.
