Discussing Globalization at the Fortune Forum in Guangzhou

‍Only a few weeks ago, the leaders of the world’s two biggest economies stood together in Beijing. Their policies on international trade stand much further apart.
China’s President Xi Jinping is committed to globalization through initiatives like the Belt and Road project, whereas US President Donald Trump set out his America First approach at a recent APEC meeting.
So with globalization at a crossroads, does this leave multinational corporations facing a precarious future or are they even more committed to a world of free trade?
It’s a question I posed to some of the distinguished delegates at the Fortune Global Forum in Guangzhou.
