Eight notable footballers have been called on by FIFA to help the 2018 World Cup draw when the ceremony takes place on December 1.
"Laurent Blanc, Gordon Banks, Cafu, Fabio Cannavaro, Diego Forlan, Diego Maradona and Carles Puyol will be the footballing royalty assisting draw conductor Gary Lineker, who will also be supported by Russian journalist Maria Komandnaya, at Moscow's State Kremlin Palace. Together with trophy bearer Miroslav Klose, they will represent the eight FIFA World Cup-winning nations," the statement reads.

Among them, new Guangzhou Evergrande coach, Fabio Cannavaro will be part of the gala, he is considered as one of the greatest defenders of all time, and helped the Azzurri win the 2006 world cup.
Also on hand will be Diego Armando Maradona. The garden gnome is one of the greatest football player of all time, and led his nation to the title in 1986.
