Saudi-led coalition airstrikes hit a prison inside a police camp in Yemen's capital Sanaa, killing at least 39 people and injuring more than 80 others. The airstrikes also caused damage to many cars and properties surrounding the camp.

The coalition first intervened in the Yemeni conflict in March 2015 to roll back the Iranian-aligned Houthi rebel group and has backed internationally recognized President Hadi who was forced into exile in Saudi Arabia.
