Police said they have no longer considered Marilou Danley as a person of interest.
The local fire department estimated that about 406 people were transported to
area hospitals and 50 were dead in Sunday evening’s shooting, according to a press release by the Las Vegas police.
Two on-duty officers were among the injured.
The statement also detailed that the police had found the suspect dead after breaching the door.

Police have identified the suspected gunman in Sunday night's deadly shooting in Las Vegas as Stephen Paddock of Mesquite, Nevada.
Paddock, 64, was living in a retirement community and had no criminal record.
Lombardo also said the police are hunting for a female companion identified as Marilou Danley, who was traveling with Paddock before the shooting.

Police said more than 50 people were killed and over 200 others injured in the Las Vegas shooting, which is believed to be the deadliest mass shooting in US history.

Yang Shu, a Chinese tourist who was near the shooting scene, told CGTN her experience.
“I just finished watching a show on the Strip, and heard three gunshots. Suddenly, there were a lot of people running towards me. I ran immediately. Police officer shouted at us and we ran to nearby hotels or stores to avoid bullets,” Yang said.
No Chinese nationals were reported among the casualties.

Police said the gunman is a local resident who acted alone and fired from the 32nd floor of Mandalay Bay Hotel.
The name of the suspect has not been released.
Police are still looking for a female companion who traveled with the suspect before the shooting.

Las Vegas police are investigating reports of an active shooter at the Mandalay Bay Casino on the city's famous strip.
The incident occurred near the Route 91 country music festival on Sunday night, reported local media.
University Medical Center spokeswoman Danita Cohen said the Las Vegas hospital is taking in "several" people with gunshot wounds.
Witnesses reported multiple ambulances flooding the area to help victims.
Authorities have shut down part of the Las Vegas Strip in response to the reports.
