Foreigners ‘targeted’ in drive-by shootings in Italy, one suspect arrested

‍Several people were injured in drive-by shootings in the central Italian city of Macerata on Saturday, local media reported.
The Italian police confirmed that one suspect has been arrested following the incident.
Local media said the attacks might be racially motivated and four of the victims were African migrants. Italian police said later that all those targeted were foreigners.
Local media said the shots were fired from a car and it remains unclear how many people were inside the vehicle.  
The injured were being treated in hospital but was not clear how serious their injuries were.
Italian police also warned residents in a tweet to stay indoors.
